Notes: Health and Sports Day (体育の日 Taiiku no hi), is a national holiday in Japan held annually on the second Monday in October, and exists to promote sports and an active lifestyle. On Wednesday, October 2, join us at the Ascension Parish Library in Gonzales and make a bracelet to celebrate an active lifestyle. However, if crafting isn’t your thing, don’t worry. We’ll also have a Wii U available if you’d prefer to just play.

Kokusaika is Japanese for “internationalization,” and that’s what this club is all about. If you’re interested in cosplay, anime, manga, gaming, etc., then this Japanese cultural club for teens is for you! This program is open to all teens ages 12 through 18. Cosplay is welcome. For more information, please contact Ascension Parish Library in Gonzales at 647-3955.
