Learn how to use library databases and other resources for homework and post-secondary preparation. Registration required.
Get set for success with some free resources, available through the library. College-bound students will learn how to access free online practice tests, tutorials, and eBooks through this ACT/SAT prep workshop. The workshop covers resources to help improve test scores, and students will gain knowledge about which library databases can assist with homework.
Space is limited. Interested students should register by calling (225) 647-3955 to register for the Gonzales location or (225) 622-3339 to register at the Galvez location. Galvez attendees are encouraged to bring their laptop, but not required.
Our Gonzales location was built in 1980 under the direction of Earline Decoteau, Director and serves as our Main Library location. It was expanded & renovated in 1996, 1998, and 2011, under the direction of Angelle Deshautelles, Director.
