      On the cloudLibrary website:

    • Libby does not have a "request" or "suggest" feature.

The Libby website and app have a feature called the Notify Me tag. If you apply a Notify Me tag to a title in Libby, you will get an in-app notification if the library buys the title. This feature does not, however, work the same as a "Suggest" or "Request" feature. So we are unable to see specific reader requests and purchase those titles.

You may make requests for specific eBook and eAudiobook titles in cloudLibrary. If you make requests in cloudLibrary, we will purchase titles that meet our selection policy guidelines.

    • If you're already using Libby on one device, you can use a setup code to easily copy your library cards, loans, holds, and tags in Libby to another device.

When setting Libby up on a new device:

      1. On the "Welcome" screen, tap Yes when asked if you have a library card.
      2. Select Copy From Another Device.
      3. Retrieve a setup code from your original device. To do so, go to the Menu (symbol with three horizontal lines) > Settings > Copy To Another Device.
      4. Enter the 8-digit code on your new device.

Watch a video about setting up Libby on another device.

    • OverDrive sunset the OverDrive app on May 1, 2023 and is focusing its efforts on the Libby website and app. The only way to access APL's OverDrive content is on Libby.

    • The Kanopy Help page has information to help you get started, including how to watch on your TV.
